
Kate Montgomery, Class of 1918
Kate Clare Montgomery was born on August 4, 1889 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

She graduated from the Winnipeg General Hospital School of Nursing in 1918 and enlisted with the Canadian Army Medical Corps (CAMC) in October 1918.
Nursing sister Montgomery served in Canada during World War I and was stationed at the No. 10 Manitoba Military Hospital (Tuxedo Park) until August 1919.
After the war, she married Sinclair McKay and they moved to Vancouver, British Columbia.
She passed away on March 11, 1955.
Alice Stevenson, Class of 1918
Alice Francis Stevenson was born on October 26, 1893 in Parry Sound, Ontario.

She graduated from the Winnipeg General Hospital School of Nursing in 1918 and enlisted with the Canadian Army Medical Corps (CAMC) in October 1918.
Nursing sister Stevenson served in Canada during World War I and was stationed at the No. 10 Manitoba Military Hospital (Tuxedo Park) until August 1919.
After the war, she worked in Winnipeg for Dr. McMillan before moving to New York where she was on staff of Miss Shillinger’s private hospital until 1927, after which time she engaged in private duty nursing.
